“The bird of prey accepts no master but will hunt for noble or peasant, if they prove worthy”
The time he spent falconing with his lord has given Liebrecht a different perspective to many of his fellow men-at-arms. Almost thirty winters old, he now seeks to make his own fate in the world.

Of Sudenland descent, Liebrecht grew up in the region of Pfeildorf among his displaced countrymen. Drafted into the crossbow regiment of the landless noble his solland heritage, he once dreamed of reclaiming his homeland. Now his regiment is disbanded, noble lord missing and his comrades mostly turned to banditry. Liebrecht was spared this desperate fate thanks to his skills as one of the regiment huntsmen.
Before the company’s Priest had disappeared with the last of the failing regiment’s coffers, he had commenced teaching Liebrecht his letters. The hunters carries the hand written lessons with him in a bundle of waxed cloth, poring over in the hopes of better understanding.
